Stylish Art Deco Ring with 'Sugarloaf cut' Amethyst and Diamonds set in Platinum Ca1920-35

A very stylish Art Deco ring with an unusual 'Sugarloaf cut' Amethyst for the central gem, offset with Diamonds, mounted in a handmade Platinum mount, Ca1920-35. The top and bottom row Diamonds are 'Old cuts' and 'Swiss cuts' and are white and clean, estimated to be of G colour and VS clarity. These are 'Pave set' . Flanked to the side of the Amethyst are two graduating baguette Diamonds, estimated to be of G colour and VS quality. These are 'Rub over' set. The colour of the Amethyst is a paler purple though this can change colour and look deeper as the ring is turned due to the crystal symmetry of the stone.
This is a superb, stylish ring, Ca1920-35. The ring measures 11.4mm wide and is a size 'L' (U.K), 6 (U.S). This ring can be sized up and down. The Amethyst measures 9mm X 6.3mm and measures 5.4mm in depth.
