CUSTOMS, TAXES & DUTY

Please be aware of any import duty taxes that you may be charged if you live abroad as we are UK based. In most countries, antique items (100 years or older) will not incur an import duty but vintage items (25 years or older) will. We will mark your purchases as 'antiques' to ensure this is the case. You can email us before purchasing to notify us which country you live in and we can try to find this out for you and work out your import duty. We have no authority over a local country's customs departmentYou may be liable to pay local taxes on imported goods. Usually your country will have a website or customs office providing you with the relevant rates. Otherwise get in touch with us and we are happy to look into it for you.Further partial restrictions on importation of items such as ours exist in specific countries. EASY RETURNS AND LAYAWAYS

UK Returns

Buyer pays return postage. Please contact us via e mail /pone to tell us that you wish to return the item. Please return the item to us within its original packaging and send it back to us a signed/tracked parcel at your local Post Office® branch for dispatch. Notify us of the tracking number. Please do NOT post in a post box

International Returns

Installments/Layaways

Fable & Windsor offer a layaway plan for purchases. Return Policy does not apply to layaway purchases, and Layaway Plans vary. Layaway: 

6 month friendly layaways are offered for most items over £400.
Please do get in touch if you would like to arrange a layaway plan. 
Layaway purchases of items over £1,000 can be returned but only for exchange and for the total minus £90 that we have spent on insured shipping. Layaway items under £1,000 can also be returned for exchange, but for the total minus £30. It is permissible for layaways to be cancelled for any reason at any point during the layaway term, but none of the funds paid so far will be refunded but kept as a store credit to use for another purchase. The validity is for 6 months after the date the layaway has been cancelled. Please be aware of this before making a purchase.
