A Charming Georgian Turquoise and Canetille Locket in 18ct Gold ca. 1800

A lovely Turquoise locket of the Georgian era with fine canetille work that opens from the hinges to reveal a compartment where a picture is kept. Indeed, another memento could have been present there. The fine detailing is on both front and back of the locket and a textured effect can be seen on the base where the canetille wire work protrudes. Little nodules protrude from the edges of the locket giving it that extra detail. These nodules are on the base of the locket too. A plain link bail is present at the top of the locket. It is in excellent condition.
