A Lovely Sapphire brooch in Platinum (tested) with Diamond 'leaves'. The Diamonds are 'Rose cut' and 'Old cuts', all delicately mille grain set. The back of the brooch is finely made, and has a yellow gold, 18ct (tested) tapered pin and ‘C’ catch. The Sapphire is extremely lively , and in my professional opinion, natural, though I have yet to have it tested. It is in keeping with age and appearance , of a natural stone, probably Ceylon. It is of a very lovely bright blue hue. It’s a lovely, lively stone.
