A delicious 'Horse shoe brooch' in Tigers Eye, Quartz and 'Old Mine cut diamonds' in Silver on Gold. The gold is a butter colour, currently untested, but definitely high carat. This brooch can easily be worn as a necklace as well, if you just hook it up to a chain. The diamonds are 'Cushion cut' or 'Old, round cuts' , with the smallest of them being 'Rose cut' points, just below the line of the 'Cushion cuts' and 'Old cuts', used for interspersion. The diamonds are of lovely quality, and estimated to be of 'H' colour. They are clean with no nicks. The Tigers eyes are a rich mustard and caramel chocolate shade . They are graduated with the bigger ones at the bottom. Tigers eyes being a softer stone, a couple have a few minor nicks which can be seen with a loupe only and do not detract from the beauty of the piece at all. The diamonds and tigers eyes are both 'Pave set' and 'Collet set'. This is a very 'rich' looking brooch, in terms of its deep, warm colours. It would be great for an equestrian lover, or someone wishing to have good luck!
