A Chic and Classic Art Deco Ring with Natural Sapphire and 'Swiss cut' Diamonds

A chic and elegant Art Deco ring with Natural Sapphire (yet to be certified) and old 'Swiss cut' diamonds, set in a Platinum hand made mount. The Sapphire, a rich 'Royal blue' colour is rectangular, step cut, with a few light surface scratches, commensurate with age, but no nicks and in good, clean condition. The Sapphire measures 1.05mm x 0.55mm and is set in fine millegraine. It is surrounded by 'Pave set' 'Swiss cut' Diamonds , also set in delicate millegrain. They are estimated to be of G colour and VS /Si stones, one has a fracture to it with can only be seen with a loupe. This little stone can easily be changed if preferred. The Sapphire is flanked by Diamond shoulders, 'Swiss cuts'. The mount is hand made, with delicate swirls in the under bezel.
