A funky, spiky, 'sputnik' style pair of clip on earrings. These have a great structural and 3D design to them, with a lot of layers and movement. The earrings measure 2.3cm wide and 1.4cm high and weigh 9.44g.The spikes are all polished, giving these pair of earrings a lovely shine and sparkle. The gold is off set with a spattering of interspersed 'Round brilliant' cut diamonds , VS in clarity and G colour (estimated). The diamonds are good, clean stones, with a lot of life and sparkle . They are 'Claw set' and the top most three have a shade of 'white' to the collets and stalks, as if white gold or Platinum were used for 'tipping'. I have been unable to test this presently. The backs of the earrings have a secure clip on system to fasten securely on to the ears. The are a few numbers (makers reference) and the letters 'LIV' stamped to the back, and. also '18ct'.
These are a cool, funky pair of earrings with a great design, Ca1970, and great for today's fashions.
