A gorgeous, one of a kind, Art Deco Opal and diamond ring set in Platinum (tested). The Opal measures 8.5mm X 6mm approximately and displays a vibrant play of colour. The stone is in lovely condition, with no surface fractures or cracks. The oval cut cabochon is flanked by three 'Carre cut' diamonds to each side. They are white and clean, estimated to be of 'G' colour and VS quality. To the sides of these are a 'Round cut' followed by a 'Baguette cut', all similar quality . The diamonds are lively and sparkly and are set in fine mille grain. The Opal is 'Claw set', which have been rounded. This ring is currently a size 'N' (U.K), 7 (U.S) and can be sized up and down.
