Beautiful Edwardian Sapphire and 'Old mine' cut Diamond Ring, Ca1910

A beautiful Edwardian Sapphire and 'Old mine' cut Diamond Ring in Platinum. It has a very pretty Ceylon sapphire . It has been certified as a 'Natural', from Ceylon, of 1.60ct. The colour of this blue has a pretty subtle hint of violet a seen in the photographs. The ones in the little box are taken in natural daylight, no filters. The Sapphire measures 7.5mm X 6mm and. is set neatly in fine millegrain. The surrounding diamonds are clean and white, estimated to be of 'G' colour and VS quality. They are 'Pave set' in fine millegrain and are 'Old cuts'. the Sapphire is set in a 'halo' fashion. The stones are all hand cut and the mount is hand made. This is a very pretty ring and has all the style, flow and gentleness of the Edwardian era. This ring is currently a size 'L' (U.K) , 6 (U.S) and can be sized up and down. Ca 1910.
