Super Pique, chunky bracelet with copper, silver and gold inlay, Ca 1850 , Victorian . With a lovely warm, ‘honey mixed with treacle’ coloured organic Tortoiseshell, with patches of blonde translucency. It opens and closes by a large padlock in the shape of a heart, attached with silver metal with silver links to the side.
A few of the pique inlay work pieces are missing, but that does not detract from this lovely piece, as mostly, they are all there. The material was first warmed to soften it then the molton metals were added to form this lovely inlay effect. Layaway options available.
