A lovely model of a Georgian memorial ring with blue enamelling, with Sepia painted girl under a bough of a tree, looking down at a fallen knot, perhaps a knot of the ties of friendship? The royal blue coloured enamel reads ‘ Sacred To The Best Of Friends’. It is a very pretty ring with an unusual inscription, and makes an impact statement on the hand. It is set in rich, butter coloured 18ct (tested) gold. Ca1800
