A gorgeously delicious Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond ring, set delicately in finely engraved Platinum. The Sapphire is thought to be a 'Natural' (untreated in any way) but this is yet to be certified. It is a clean stone, with one natural feather inside. The Sapphire measures 1.25cm x 0.6cm (approximately 2.6ct) and is 'Step cut'. The surface is slightly scratched but this can easily be polished out. The scratches are due to wear, commensurate its age. The blue hue , is a good deep inky blue and the stone is softly vibrant. The sapphire is 'Rub over set'. The shoulders have numerous 'Old Mine cuts', all in good condition and sparkly and lively. They are approximately G/H colours and of VS/Si clarity and are 'pave set'. The collet has fine engraving, which just adds extra finesse to the piece.
Currently a size 'M', this can be sized up or down.
