Charming Georgian Closed Back Ruby and Diamond Ring with fine Engraving with Antique Box

A very charming Georgian Ruby Ring with 'Old cut' Diamonds. The Ruby is the finest of qualities, with a terrific glow, in my opinion , a Burmese. The red of the Ruby is really vibrant as befitting a good Burma. It almost glows... 
Set in high carat (yet to be tested) gold, which as been finely engraved with delicate floral patterns, seen at the back and at the shoulders. The Ruby measures 6mm approximately in diameter and is flat and lightly facetted on the outer circumference of the circle. The ring measures 13mm in diameter. The diamonds are gorgeous hand cut, old cuts, from the Georgian era. they are in good condition and are pave set with a fine casing of silver 'Collet' setting to the circumference. The Diamonds are set in silver, as befits and compliments the stone, and the Ruby set in gold, which befits ad compliments this stone. Ruby needs a 'warm' setting , and Diamonds, a 'cool' one. The ruby is most likely foil backed, as the ring itself is closed back, in keeping with Georgian craftsmanship. Antique box shown is included. 
This is a fine ring with a very fine Ruby and the most exquisite engraving.
