A stunning and substantial pair of Art Deco Columbian Emerald and 'Old Mine cut' Diamond cluster earrings in Platinum (tested) and 18ct yellow gold (tested). The Emeralds weigh approximately 3.1cts total and measure 7.8mm X 5.7mm X 4.5mm and 8.1mm X 5.8mm X 4.6mm. The Emeralds are certified by G.C.S as 'Columbian Minor', which is an extremely desirable result and prized by collectors and dealers alike. The green is a beautiful, deep and vibrant 'traffic light green' colour. The emeralds are set via claws in yellow gold, adding warmth to the colour. The stones are encircled by 0.20ct each of 'Old Mine cut' diamonds, total of 2cts to each earring. All G/H colours and VS/Si quality and in good condition. They are 'claw set' in platinum, the best colour and metal for diamonds. The earrings have pin and posts for backs, but can easily be converted to drop earrings with long 'shepherds crooks' in 18ct yellow gold, if you feel they would sit or hang better on your ears. The earrings come in their own antique box as shown.
