Gorgeous Natural Ceylon Sapphire and 'Old Mine' cut Diamond Bangle ca. 1920-35

Gorgeous Natural Ceylon Sapphire and 'Old Mine cut’ Diamond bracelet, with the Sapphire estimated to be 1.30ct and the Diamonds 4.40ct. The diamonds are in excellent condition, well matched and white and clean, with no chips.
The Diamonds are 'Claw set' as is the 'Oval cut', facetted Natural Ceylon blue Sapphire. The Sapphire is a good, vivid strong blue colour, with a shade that is typical to Ceylon. The bangle has been sodium plated to appear white, but it will be yellow gold inside, a personal preference. There is a tongue in groove slide fastener and a safety chain for extra security. This is a very pretty piece of classic jewellery and comes with its antique box shown.
