A beautiful Art Deco Natural Pearl and Diamond ring in 18ct stamped white gold, with a Platinum head. The pearl, is in my opinion, a natural one. It has the soft hue and lustre of one that is natural and the skin has the lovely ‘natural’ look and feel. It is a very pale grey colour. There are four diamonds in each column which are pave set with fine and delicate millegraine edges . These diamonds are full ‘Old mine cuts’ and ‘Rose cuts’. On the outer most vertical columns, there is another central bigger Diamond , approximately 0.04cts each, in the centre, thus making a total of five Diamonds in this column. These two Diamonds are slightly raised from the others and individually set in millegraine. The diamonds are white , G colour, in my opinion and have a good clarity of VS. There are a few minor abrasions and tiny chips in a few of the stones but this is really only seen with a loupe. This is commensurate with its age and wear and does not take away from its beauty in any way. It is stamped in the shank with the old ‘18ct’ mark and another indiscernible stamp. In the centre of the ring, and indeed its main feature is the pearl, which is in fine condition. The collet is beautifully hand made and in great condition. It is a contemporary , timeless piece that can be worn easily with today’s fashions, and with it, it brings the history and sentiments from the Art Deco period. A bit of past into your modern life…
