A lovely and easy to wear Georgian pair of fine foiled back earrings in tested 15ct yellow gold. The gold is the colour of deep, rich butter. Inclusions, natural to the quartz can be observed with a loupe. The quartz is tested. The foil turns in the bottom left hand side to one earring and this appears more pinkier than the rest of the pale, dusky hue of pink present in the rest of the earrings. This however, just adds to the charm There are two little holes to the back of each of the earrings. Beautiful bead work adorns the earrings, which have fine, twisted gold wiring running around. The earrings go through the ears via shepherd’s crooks.
