Fine Siam Ruby and Diamond Cluster Ring , ca. 1950

A lovely, fine and bright Siam ruby and diamond cluster ring. The beautiful oval facetted ruby measures approximately 2cts and 8.2mm X 6mm. It is a lively, dispersive and of a lovely wine colour. The round brilliant cut diamonds measure 0.07cts and are 12 in number, TW of 0.84cts. They are bright and lovely stones estimated to be G colour and VS clarity. The stones are delicately set in platinum and the shank is tapered, plain 18ct yellow gold. It has good proportions and is a fine ring. It makes for a super ruby anniversary gift or for those who have a ruby birthstone. Or you could just like rubies…what is there not to like?! The ring can be easily resized.
