A lovely ruby and natural pearl Georgian ring ca 1800 in high carat gold, with triangular engraved shoulders in bloom gold, giving it a lovely gentle, silky feel and look. The ruby is of a good red colour and is very finely claw set. The back of the ring reads ‘ Tho’ lost to sight, to memory nev’r’. It is a beautiful sentiment to a loved, lost one. The pearls are lovely, lustrous, white and well matched. The ruby, is bright and in excellent condition. It is a very lovely , red colour, dispersive and berry red. The shoulders lead to a ridged shank. This is a very sweet memorial ring with a beautiful message.
