A Winter’s Day

Mama has bought these very bright coloured outfits for us both. She says we will look super for Christmas. Rumi’s outfit has little sleeves and she gently pushed his arms through them. At first he was quite disconcerted, but then later he had a fun time playing quite the human! I found my outfit to be more comfortable than his, as it doesn’t have any sleeves. I was in my royal element with my faux ermine fur, but she got me a silly pointy hat instead of a crown that I deserve. She is very deluded as sometimes she thinks she is the queen, the way she bosses us around! Little does she know, it is I not her. I am the queen, the white fur queen.

It has been snowing and it was Rumi’s first snow. The poor boy didn’t know what had happened outside and why everything was turning white. He went out and touched the snow with his little paws. He had a good sniff at it before he decided it was safe to venture out. And, when he went out, he went missing for a few hours until the sun was set. He reappeared all covered in white snow. Mama rubbed a towel around Rumi, gave him a kiss, and warmed him up. We were both ready for bed and cuddled up beside mama.
